HAND MOLDING
Honest Iron And Steel Pvt. Ltd. has both Hand Moulding as well as Machine Moulding as their core competency. It's the most traditional system of producing casting with reasonably fair dimensional accuracy.
MACHINE MOLDING
The process followed by more advanced system, consists of a mix of Bentonite, Coal Dust, with 2-3 % water content. That's why it is also called as Green Sand Moulding.
CORE MANUFACTURING
Core Making and Manufacturing is an intricate process as forming the internal cavities of the mould which is depends mainly on the core.
MELTING
We are using The World Best, Inductotherm India make, 250 KW - 300kg & 750kg capacity shells to produce Graded Gray Iron & Ductile Iron castings in various grades like, 400/12, 400/15, 500/7, 600/3, 700/2
FETTLING
Fettling is the operation that is required for the removal of sand, scale and the excess material on the casting. This is a very important process as this imparts the finishing to the casting.
QUALITY CONTROL
Honest Iron & Steel Ltd has a full-fledged laboratory for testing of mechanical and metallurgical properties in addition to the checking of Quality of Raw Materials and other inputs.
PATTERN SHOP
Well experienced and educated team of engineers are appointed in the pattern shop at Honest Iron where the workshop is dedicatedly equipped with Turning Lathes, Milling Machines, Drilling Machines.
MACHINE SHOP
Honest Iron is equipped with a machine shop to cater to ready component requirements. For This company is having sophisticated machines including CNC Turning Centres, VMC, Radial Drills, etc.
